For those who love Shakespeare should obviously visit his Globe theatre in London. Don’t forget that Deafinitely Theatre have performed there, and the play Imogen has just finished where they used a young Deaf actor.
“The Exhibition audio guide, developed in conjunction with Acoustiguide, offers up to an hour of additional insights into Elizabethan playgoing and aspects of performance at Shakespeare’s Globe today. It is included in the standard admission price and is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin and Japanese. Equivalent video content is available in British Sign Language with English subtitles. Up to 45 minutes of specially-created audio tracks in English and a printed Family Trail are also included for younger visitors.”
