Graeae Theatre’s Jenny Sealey works with Japan and Bangladesh through our pandemic to help create an international collaborative inclusive production.
The British Council, in partnership with Owlspot Theatre and Graeae Theatre Company, staged a collaborative production of “The Tempest: Swimming for Beginners” from 1 to 6 June 2021.
Jenny encourages and inspires a blind Japanese woman to choreograph a dance – something she would have never considered before. A Deaf actor learns how to work with blind members of the cast. People from these countries with such different cultures and languages work together to create some theatrical magic.
