
Amplify Festival is an annual celebration of artists from across the wider Midlands regions, and takes place this year from 18-21 October at Nottingham Playhouse. The festival will feature a host of new and exciting work from the region, alongside scratch performances, networking opportunities, workshops and panel discussions, it’s a place for artists and audience to come together to delight and invest in local talent.

Clown Hour – exploring clowning.
Women’s Writes Triple Bill – 1. THAT FACE SHOULD FORM ANOTHER – “they f**k you up, your mum and dad!’ y’know…that poem”. 2. THE KING STONE – What is home? For Phil it’s the stars. 3. DYS – DYS is about waking up and finding everyone lied about who you are.
Festival Finale, a Double Bill – 1. LEND ME YOUR QUEAR – Queer Utopia layers disciplines such as spoken word, lip-sync, music, movement and more. 2. MY DAD WEARS A DRESS – A one-woman show about growing up with a trans-female parent.
