Chickenshed Theatre has been going from strength to strength for over 40 years. Christmas is approaching fast – and therefore so is their festive show that as always includes as many of their students of various ages, as possible – over 200 in all!
Each year, a production is created that includes BSL so that the Deaf community can go along and watch the show on any night (or afternoon) they choose, and not be restricted to the one interpreted night of most shows.
The run will begin soon – on 21st Nov, and run until 5th Jan. It promises to be a magical and brilliantly uplifting retelling of the unforgettable story of Ebenezer Scrooge, that “squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner”. Follow his spooky encounters over the course of one incredible night, and his journey ultimately to become the friendly, charitable man who “knew how to keep Christmas well”.
It has original music, stunning sets and incredible design, you’re guaranteed an absolutely unforgettable festive theatre experience for young and old alike!
